Richarda Abrams

Richarda received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting with honors from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts, and a Master of Arts degree in Educational Theatre from New York University, Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development.

Organization memberships include:  The Actors Studio, League of Professional Theatre Women, and New York Women in Film and Television.  Union memberships include: Actors Equity Association and Screen Actors Guild / American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.  Richarda has worked in commercials, film, industrials, prime time TV, soap operas, sitcoms, and on stage.  She has written several one person plays. Performances include: The Acting Company, Cherry Lane Theatre, Crossroads Theatre, Exec-Comm, HERE Arts Center, Kennedy Center Festival, La MaMa Experimental Theater Club, Multi Stages, New Federal Theatre, The Public Theater, 2nd Stage, Yara Arts Group, ABC TV, CBS TV, NBC TV, LIFETIME Television for Women, SHOWTIME NETWORKS and Sesame Street.

Richarda has performed, taught and participated in workshops in the public and private sector all over the world.  Her work spans the gamut, from working with very young children to seasoned business professionals in Fortune 500 companies. Richarda is on the Board of Directors of the League of Professional Theatre Women and Co-Chair of the League's Networking Committee.
