Russ Whismore

As an Exec|Comm Facilitator, Russ Whismore brings more than 30 years of experience in coaching and communication skills training. Drawing on his background as both a public and private accountant in the business and entertainment sectors, he connects easily with professionals across a wide range of industries. Having lived and worked in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, and the United Kingdom, Russ incorporates his cross-cultural perspective to help clients strengthen their communication and leadership presence.
Past Experience
In addition to his work with Exec|Comm, Russ works as a professional actor, teaching artist, and improvisational performer. Through networking, perseverance, and strong relationship-building, he grew an international touring theater company in both the United States and Europe. His stage work includes performances with San Francisco Bay Area companies such as Landmark Musical Theatre, Ross Valley Players, Contra Costa Civic Theatre, and Made Up Theatre. He and his wife also produce ShotzLondon, a theatrical “pressure cooker” in which six plays are written, rehearsed, and performed within one month.

Russ earned his BA in Accounting from the University of Southern California and now lives in the UK with his wife. After years of traveling in France, he developed a love for its culture and cuisine and enjoys cooking. In his free time, he walks, cycles, paddleboards, and plays games, and remains a devoted Northern California sports fan.
