Richard J. McKay

Retired Founding Partner

In 1982 Richard McKay founded Exec-Comm to establish a world-class communication consulting Firm. Clients were to be serviced by partners and associates working within a unique business community. Today, with over 40 professionals, Exec-Comm offers the greatest selection of communication skills solutions in its field.

The first two Exec-Comm associates are now partners in the Firm.

Mr. McKay, a communication specialist for more than a quarter of a century and an instructor at both the graduate and college levels, also developed and implemented programs at The American Institute of CPAs, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Communispond, where he was a vice-president.

Complementing Mr. McKay’s extensive business background is a rigorous academic record and experience conducting programs in a wide range of subjects, including economics, psychology, English, and sociology, as well as dramatics, transactional analysis, group dynamics, and teacher preparation. Altough retired from the paretnership, Mr. McKay continues to teach programs for Exec-Comm and work on special projects. His publishing credits include editing the book Successful Devices for Teaching and writing for the New York Daily News. He holds a master’s degree and is a Phi Beta Kappa, cum laude graduate of the Catholic University of America.
