Palo Alto Lean In Circle

Leading with Executive Presence

12-07-2016

Join Ching Valdezco at Palo Alto Lean In Circle on December 7, for a talk on Leading with Executive Presence. How do others see you? Are you the top candidate for that next big promotion or career opportunity? In this interactive discussion, learn how to stand out from the crowd and make a positive impression as an effective leader.

Leading with Executive Presence

You are an experienced leader, a rising star, or an expert in your field. Many leaders work hard and deliver results, yet are not top-of-mind for important promotions and high-stakes projects. Why does that happen? How can you strengthen your executive presence and go from good to great?

Sometimes, women struggle to be seen as highly competent yet likeable and relatable. How do you communicate confidently with sponsors who can open doors for you? As you rise in your career, success flows less from your individual technical skills, and more from your ability to communicate, inspire, and lead effectively.

During this interactive discussion, learn how to bring out your best self: understand how others perceive you, refine your professional presence, and communicate with confidence and credibility.

To help you with reinforcing your skills after the talk, you’ll also be able to purchase a copy of Exec-Comm’s new book, “Simply Said: Communicating Better at Work and Beyond." (Wiley;2016)
