What To Expect

Jay Sullivan will host a one-hour crash course in effective writing with the Princeton Club of New York.

Session Description
You thought your life was consumed by email before… then Covid-19 hit. Your bedroom turned into your office, your phone calls turned into video calls, and your email inbox exploded like you’ve never seen. You might also feel like you’re sending as many emails as you receive. Since your writing is now an even larger part of how you present yourself to the world, how can you make sure you’re getting the content across while still conveying a sense of your own professional presence?

In this session, participants will learn to:

  • Write shorter documents
  • Engage the reader with an active voice
  • Prepare results-oriented emails
  • Create persuasive proposals and informative reports
  • Organize information effectively
