Heather Segal will participate in a panel discussion entitled “ Proving the value of your MBA: High performance MBA skills and behaviors to succeed in non MBA-concentrated industries.”

Columbia Women in Business (CWIB) is the largest student organization at Columbia Business School, the top business school for recruiting women. The CWIB Conference is also the largest women’s business conference in the country, with over 700 attendees gathering to network and discuss key issues facing top leaders in business.  Each year, the meeting is hailed as a unique opportunity to hear from women having success across industries and the globe and this year should be a wonderful event. This year’s theme is “Mapping the Future: Dynamic Paths to Success.”

  • Heather Segal

    Heather Segal joined the firm in 1994 and is now a Managing Director.  She coaches executives and trains professionals on how to present, write, sell, negotiate and lead.  She’s trained thousands of professionals at companies such as JPMorgan Chase, IBM, Bank of America, and Pearson Education, to name a few.  Heather also leads the training of Exec|Comm’s instructors and manages the firm’s financial operations.

     

    Before joining Exec|Comm, Heather spent several years as a marketing manager for Dun & Bradstreet and as a systems analyst for IBM.

     

    Heather received an MBA in finance from Columbia Business School and a business undergraduate degree from McGill University.  Heather lives in Westchester County with her husband and three children.  She competes regularly in marathons and triathlons and recently completed her second ironman.  As a member of Team Will, Heather works with the Barth Syndrome Foundation to raise awareness and funding for this rare genetic disorder.
