Amy Mapother

Amy Mapother offers nearly 15 years of experience as a facilitator, coach, and instructional designer to Exec-Comm clients. She has served as both a Sales Consultant and the Director of Training and Development for the firm in New York City, before moving to Colorado. As a consultant, she managed a broad range of clients, including: Merck, Ogilvy & Mather, Mercer, and Sanofi. As training director, she oversaw instructor hiring and training and designed customized programs for the firm’s clients. She also established an instructor digital training system, as well as revamped departmental processes, to reduce firm costs by 40%. As a current facilitator and coach, Amy helps clients enhance their skills in areas such as leading teams, selling authentic messages, resolving conflict, and writing professionally. She especially enjoys coaching executives one-on-one to help them create an others-focused strategy to influence stakeholders.

Past Experience

Before joining Exec-Comm in 2005, Amy worked as an event manager in the corporate hospitality industry. Her responsibilities included leading large events with over 30 staff members, training new employees, and building client relationships. She also enjoyed a decade-long career in the entertainment industry. As a successful actress, she performed in feature films, network television, New York and regional theaters, and many national commercials.
