Day One - Write for Results
Business professionals write more today than ever before. Emails, proposals, and reports are just a few of the documents people have to write on a regular basis.
How do you write quickly AND clearly while also striking the right tone?
Exec-Comm’s Write for Results program helps you write clear, concise documents by simplifying and focusing your writing process.
Day Two - Presenting with Impact
As a speaker, how can you consistently project poise and conviction when the stakes are high? If you seem nervous or uncomfortable, your credibility drops. That’s why presentation skills are essential for successful professionals, whether they present from the front of the room, the head of the table, on a videoconference, or as part of team for a “town hall” meeting. Calm, confident and credible presenters adapt to the environment and form an immediate and lasting impression with their audience.
Exec-Comm’s Presenting with Impact program helps you successfully manage your presence, information and audience so your credibility stays strong.
After participating in this 2-day program, you will:
- Write shorter documents
- Engage the reader with active voice
- Prepare results-oriented emails
- Create persuasive proposals and informative reports
- Organize information effectively
- Edit documents quickly
- Present a polished, professional manner
- Speak fluently and gesture naturally
- Quickly organize a message or presentation for greatest audience impact
- Engage with compelling visuals
- Handle questions and answers with ease
You will submit writing samples before the program. An Exec-Comm instructor assesses your writing strengths and areas for growth. During the writing program, you practice with written exercises both individually and in small groups. Then you immediately apply the concepts to your own writing. In the presentation skills program you will acquire skills through extensive video recording, group exercises and instructor coaching. A typical half-hour includes 10 minutes of instructor briefing and 20 minutes of practice and skill building. After the seminar, you will receive access to ECLearn, an online resource.
