Nancy Pender

Facilitator, N. America

Nancy Pender is an Exec-Comm facilitator, based in Chicago, with extensive experience in the news and PR industries. Her mission as a trainer and coach is to not just tell, but show professionals at all levels of their career how to be more impactful communicators. Nancy works with clients from a broad range of industries including: banking, healthcare, insurance, accounting, and advertising.

Before joining Exec-Comm, Nancy was an anchor and reporter for Chicago Fox affiliate WFLD-TV. During her 13 years at the station, Nancy covered a variety of stories, including the Columbine massacre in Colorado, and was among a team of journalists to receive the Peabody Award. Beyond journalism, Nancy was a VP at Culloton Strategies, a strategic communications firm based in Chicago. There, she counseled clients on messaging strategy, crisis management, and media outreach

Nancy graduated with honors from Sacramento State University in California. She is a member of the Chicago Better Business Bureau's board of trustees and a charter member of the Reporter's Inc., an independent, not-for-profit journalistic production house. Nancy and her husband, Chris, have two teenaged sons, Jaxon and Dylan. Jaxon is all about Crew, while Dylan has made a name for himself in travel baseball.
