Lisa Taber

Facilitator, N. America

Lisa Taber is a facilitator in North America who also trains many of Exec-Comm’s global team. She spent two weeks in Shanghai training a group of the firm’s APAC facilitators and team-teaching classes for clients in China. She taught programs in India, Amsterdam, the UK, Singapore, and Canada, and enjoys finding parallel aspects of communication worldwide. Working one on one, Lisa coaches executives to prepare for everything from board meetings to town halls to television interviews. She also leads Exec-Comm’s group of client actors, casting and preparing them for roleplays to improve interactions with clients and others.

Before joining Exec-Comm in 2006, Lisa was an actress. Her work with lawyers and business audiences performing improvised scenarios led to her current position. She was a member of an improv troupe that performed weekly shows at Gotham City Improv for two years. Lisa appeared in commercials and soap operas and taught an on-camera acting class for teenagers for over a decade.

Lisa graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota with a double major in Theatre and Journalism, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She formed a book club over ten years ago that continues to enrich her life. Lisa and her husband, Colin, met performing on a cruise ship and live in NYC. Her favorite accomplishment is raising two sons in Manhattan, both of whom make her proud every day.
